I am a fabricholic and a quiltaholic. I love everything to do with fabric, quilts, quilting and patchwork. I have been patchworking since 2004, and in 2007 I purchased a computerized Gammill Optimum long arm quilting machine with Statler Stitcher. Since then I have quilted dozens of quilts and UFOs for myself, friends and family. My specialty is edge to edge quilting. I have made two trips to the USA and each time I have come home with a suitcase full of fabrics and vintage quilt tops to add to my collection and stash. I have lots of quilts and wall hangings of my own to showcase my quilting, as well as sample designs already stitched out.
I live in Livingstone Lane, Ironbark, Qld (in the Walloon / Haigslea area), just 15 minutes west of Ipswich, off the Warrego Highway at Schultz’s Road turnoff. My husband and I enjoy the rural life on our 30 acre property, along with our dog, cows, birds and bees.
Please note that you will need to contact me to make an appointment to drop off your quilt. If you are local or close to Ipswich city, I may be able to pick up your quilt when I go to town, and can bring samples of quilted designs for you to choose from.
